CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS...

Salinas LULAC Council #2055 continues to serve the City of Salinas and the County of Monterey in terms of Civil and Human Rights.  As a member of the Coalition of Minority Organizations, C.O.M.O. and the Monterey County Civil Rights Coalition C.R.C. we are concerned for the well being of minorities in terms of violations of basic civil and human rights.

At the present time Salinas LULAC Council #2055 holds a voting position on the Monterey County Equal Opportunity Advisory Commission.  The commission serves as the official governing body for the employees of the County of Monterey who have a grievance or allegation of a potential civil rights violation.
