Legal Research - Ongoing
LULAC Council #2055 is currently looking for volunteers to conduct legal
research regarding issues facing the Latino community in the City of
Salinas and the County of Monterey. The Legal Research team is
responsible for providing LULAC Council #2055 the most recent information
on any civil or human rights legislation.
Civil and Human Rights
Advocacy - Ongoing The Civil and Human Rights Committee provides
individual assistance to residents in the City of Salinas and the the
County of Monterey regarding any civil or human rights violation.
The Civil and Human Rights Committee meets on an "as needed" basis to
resolve any civil or human rights violation and in many cases serve as
a media advocate with the local radio, newspaper and television
stations.
Bookkeeping - Ongoing
LULAC Council #2055 is currently looking for individuals who have the time
and resources to keep our organization current and up to date with its
non-profit 501 (c) 3 and tax exempt status with the State of
California.
