On Saturday, November 8, 2003 Jose Ortiz completed the following mural for Annual LULAC Black and White Ball based on LULAC's national mission statement;
"Advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, health and civil rights of the Latino population of the United States."
The mural is divide into four equal parts, where each corner represents a part of our national mission statement.
